Just like dominoes falling, the Human race in almost every country in the world has taken a hard stop. Approximately one hundred and sixty out of the one hundred and ninety-five sovereign nations around the globe have stumbled. Many have fallen to their knees.

But it ain’t over just yet folks. As Yogi Berra once said, “it ain’t over till it’s over.”

To us, this means many more months of anxiety and stress. It means many more sicknesses and potential deaths, possible rationing, panic-stricken races to stock up an already overstocked pantry.

It perhaps represents a crumbling of infrastructure and economies.

But I think although Nature’s hammered us and forced us to pull up and stop in our tracks, we’re learning things. Things we maybe learned one hundred and two years ago from the influenza pandemic and all just forgot about.

We’re learning certain politicians, well, they’re politicians first and humans later. For some, we’re not even sure they’ve ever been human. We’re learning there is only a handful of people in this world holding most of the wealth who, by the way, are oligarchs first and humans only when it suits their agenda.

We’re learning the politicians serving these oligarchs are perfectly willing to put business interests, investor wealth, and saving their precious economic power structures before the Human race.

Every.Single.Time.

We’ve quickly learned that middle and lower-income Americans have become nothing more than statistics. In some ways, due to the frailty of the Human race, we’re viewed as a liability to the power and wealth hungry when we either get sick or even worse, die.

Whether it be blue or white-collar workers, the oligarchs, and the politicians who serve them, are desperate for their slave labor to ignore the risk of dying and get back to work.

We know they’re willing to mislead us with inaccurate information, and when that doesn’t work, tell us outright lies.

This malady which has struck down the entire Human species has brought to light these leopard’s spots the oligarchs and political schemers have hidden beneath their coats.

And just like one hundred and two years ago, when people were dying by the millions, those that lived through it all saw the political barracudas and greedy oligarchs for what they indeed were.

Monsters.

They were monsters who had their chance to be Human, just like now, just like today.

Monsters who needed to set aside their political agendas and start helping their fellow Humans find ways to survive these pandemic atrocities.

Monsters who need to donate their time, and their enormous manufacturing and distribution capabilities to help their fellow Humans get the medical attention they need when they need it. They need to be Humans assisting other humans by constructing and distributing the medical equipment hospitals need to fight this.

They need to stop being monsters and start being Humans again by donating money, tons of money they can’t spend in their lifetime to fund additional laboratory exploration to develop a vaccine.

A vaccine that works. Not a malaria preventative, which hasn’t been approved by the FDA for use against this current pandemic.

No vaccine, and yet what do we get?

We get the oligarchs and politicians telling us it’s okay to walk across the minefields and go back to work so we can help them stay wealthy and powerful.

What about all the small businesses that are shuttering each day? Are the rich and powerful going to help them stay in business? Probably not, especially if they’re the competition.

We’re all down in the same trenches trying to stay sane and remain healthy, trying to help when we can, where we can, how we can. But we can only do so much. We’re all battling against this survival beast as well.

What we need is simple.

We need political parties to stop their continuous backbiting and bitter partisan feuds and join together with a true determination to help this country and the world move forward.

We need all the powerful families who drive this country with their wealth and influence to sit the f*ck down and shut the f*ck up. We need all the wealthy influencers to turn some of that wealth they miserly hold onto into well-funded programs to fight the advance of this illness and the onset of an economic downturn.

Help us protect our livelihoods, not your precious bottom line.

And we need these sparring politicians in both parties and wealthy oligarchs to understand that our backs you’re currently standing on will not break, and our minds will remember how you dealt with this situation.

And we will evolve and maybe just revolt.

Think Bastille Day and July the 4th.
