Jesus was a child of Nazareth. How many white Nazarenes do we know of? None. I have never belived in a white Jesus and yet I know my father and grandparents did. Both my dad and granddad were Methodist ministers who catered to white churches and preached to white people.

When I grew old enough to question this spiritual unreality, I had plenty of argumentative encounters with both my grandfather and father.

Probably one of the primary reasons I left home at seventeen and never went back.
