So I read this Lindsay, stepped away and thought about it, then decided to drop you a line.

I’m not going to bury you in platitudes and tell you writing a book/novel gets any easier. It doesn’t. In some small way, I believe discussions you and I had earlier on this topic where I said go, go, go, maybe partly the cause for the state you’re in right now.

I can accept that, because though we’ve never met I somehow know you, see you as a kindred soul whose internals burn with the fire of a writer’s passion.

I believe you’ll accomplish this, and I will stand in line in the rain (have to get back to you if it’s snowing) if I have to, to purchase your first and have you personalize it.

Not just some “To Paul, thanks for reading” autograph.
