However, I would like to take credit for this one, but I can only take a bit.

This entire story was predicated on a comment (actually a browbeating) my lovely wife made with regard to “Vanished”. She slammed me for leaving her, and the reading audience, hanging with an open-ended story. Her words exactly were “Not only did you leave us hanging, but you gave us NO CLOSURE.”

After thinking about it (a lot) I realized she was right (dang it) and wrote: “There’s No Justice In Killing.”

I don’t think she’s read the conclusion yet, but she hasn’t busted my noggin with a frying pan yet, so there is that.
